Comfortable, well-fitting swimwear is recommended for all swimmers. Water Babies lessons require an approved double-layer nappy system, consisting of an approved preferably reusable inner layer and an approved outer layer such as a Happy Nappy™ or Splash Jammers™, or a Duo™, which has both layers built in.

Not always. Products such as the Happy Nappy™ Costume and Happy Nappy™ Wetsuit already include a built-in Happy Nappy™ layer. For Water Babies lessons, you'll simply need to add an approved inner layer, ideally a reusable swim nappy. Swimwear without built-in leak protection, such as the Warm in One, Baby Wrap Wetsuit and standard costumes or trunks, must be worn with the full approved double-layer nappy system underneath, comprising an approved inner layer and an approved outer layer such as a Happy Nappy™ or Splash Jammers™, or the 2-in-1 DUOs™.

Yes. Potty training status does not change Water Babies requirements. Any Water Babies swimmer must wear the approved Double Layer Nappy System during lessons. If your child is attending Swimvincible lessons, appropriate swimwear is all that's required and the Double Layer Nappy System is not needed.

Swimwear should feel snug but comfortable, allowing your child to move freely in the water. A secure fit helps little swimmers stay comfortable and confident during lessons, family swims and holiday adventures.

Yes. Water Babies lessons take place in warm pools heated to at least 29°C, but some babies and toddlers can still feel the cold more than others. A wetsuit provides an extra layer of warmth and comfort, helping sensitive swimmers stay happy and focused during lessons, longer swim sessions and family swims in cooler pools.
